"Only in growth, reform, and change, paradoxically enough is true security to be found."
Anne Morrow Lindbergh

What percentage of your time is spent fixing issues? How much energy does your staff spend focusing on what is possible, rather than why things won’t work? In Working for Purpose people create their own destiny, the destiny of the organization.

How?

By bring together two unique experiences, Appreciative Inquiry, (a ground breaking organization development approach), and Community Service to create an opportunity for work groups to find their limitless potential and construct a path to get there.

Appreciative Inquiry (AI) is used world wide to strengthen communities and organizations such as the U.S. Navy, the city of Chicago, the country of Sweden. These and countless others have benefited from the AI philosophy, that we impact what we are focused on. So, through interviews, participants ask and listen to success stories on a specific topic to learn and create a design for an ideal future.

Using Community Service as a venue for collecting success stories in the topic you choose; leadership, customer service, innovation, building morale and many others, group members get a fundamental new perspective of purpose in their learning area. Imagine learning about customer service while serving food at a soup kitchen, or the power of deep relationships while working with a village in Costa Rica.

For the second half of the workshop, group members share their experiences from the service component. The team looks for similiar underlying themes, which they would like to incorporate into their workplace.

We have seen Working for Purpose change entire organizations. They have a new bond, more respect and more productive conversations, which leads to a more productive work climate. Imagine the loyalty when you invest in your people in this way.
