The Power of One is a Team Ascent Consulting program that serves teams focused on deeper, long-term results. The goal of this multi-phased team development project is to enhance teams that need to be innovative, and continually raise the level of excellence everyday. Work Groups engage the Power of One when they want to create an inclusive and supportive work environment where great ideas are the norm and coming to work is a pleasure.
How do we do it?
- Discovering what your team and individuals on your team are doing well.
- Through experiential activities and assessment tools we find out where your talents are.
- Looking at three key steps: Valuing talents, group trust, and celebration.
- Power is having the right conversations all the time.
- This phase is focused on taking the fear out of the work place so clients can have open honest conversations that produce mission critical solutions. This happens with trust, letting go of ego, and viewing individual development as enhancing the team.
Now we see it in action. The group is faced with a monumental task that will require them to innovate, hold each other accountable and excel to their highest performance. Group planners choose between a service learning exercise and an outdoor adventure. The group then celebrates their success and creates their final plan to transfer their learning back into the work place.
Each phase includes action planning, and a summary of the event prepared by the Team Ascent consultants. When appropriate, we also provide coaching for leaders to help create lasting results.
This program is available over a 4 day period and can be offered over 4 days consecutively or it can be spread out over 3 months.
